We are a body of believers just outside of Norman, OK in the bedroom community of Goldsby. Christ is our everything. We seek to be transformed by His love in such a way that it affects our community, our nation, and even our world. Everyone of us are broken people being overcome by the love of Christ. You find us to be unpretentious and solely focussed on the mission at hand. Visitors are all welcome in our home. Our doors and hearts are open to all that feel God drawing them to Him. Come see us soon we always will have room for you.
Our senior pastors David and Letha Starchman are the founding pastors of True Vine Church. They have raised two daughters, Mercedes and Isabella Starchman who are currently attending college. David and Letha have been faithfully married for twenty one years and reside in nearby Norman. David is a Senior Level Programming Architect and Letha is a registered nurse (RN) and is also pursuing her BSN. A few years back they felt the call to become pastors and plant a church. In 2009 True Vine Church opened their doors, figuratively at least since they did not have a permanent meeting space ready yet. In 2010 True Vine Church began meeting in the first building on it's current property in Goldsby. The church has had a slow steady growth as families were added to their body. Our passion for outreach and for missions has carried the church into local neighborhoods and even foreign lands to share the love of Christ with our actions as well as our words. In early 2016 True Vine moved into it's new higher capacity facility and children's ministry meets in the old facility. We eagerly await to see what God holds for us in the future.our beliefs

It is important for us to meet each week and celebrate Christ through our Sunday Celebration services, but being the Body of Christ is so much more! We need regular fellowship to build the strong personal relationships with each other to be able to reach this world together with the love of Christ. Most weeks you can count on that we will have our Sunday Celebration Service at 11:00 am at our home campus and our small groups throughout the area Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. Student Groups meet at the church each Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM for ages 12-18. There are plenty of other opportunities to join in the fun though. Here are a few of the upcoming events:
Join us for Movie under the Stars Saturday, Nov. 5th. We will have a cookout starting at 6:30 p.m. with the movie to begin at dark-thirty. Burgers will be provided; so, bring a side, snack, dessert, or drink to share along with a blanket and/or lawn chair.
There will be a Kid’s Ministry Meeting following church Nov. 20th. All interested in volunteering for nursery and/or kids church should plan to attend in order to get information on updated schedules as well as new curriculum. Light Lunch will be provided. Contact Jeni Willoughby for more information.
It’s almost time for our annual Love Pack tradition. Each Love Pack contains school supplies, toys, and personal hygiene items. We’ve collected most of the items(thank you!) and are needing to order our bulk items. To ensure bulk items be received in time, we need to order by the first of November. We are still needing $1000 to reach our goals for bulk ordering. Please pray about how God would have you help in this essential ministry. Contributions designated “Love Packs” can be placed in the offering box.. Also, please remember to pray for the children who will receive these Love Packs. For these children, the material blessing we send down will the light of Christ shining in their lives. Please help us spread the light. Love Pack assembly will be Sunday Dec. 4.
We are sending a team down to El Higo, Veracruz to distribute the Love Packs that we have been collecting for throughout the year. Pray for our team as they go down to spread the love of Christ through the distibution of the Love Packs. Love Packs contain necessary items like soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste. We also put in some paper, pencils, stickers and a toy for the kids. Through this meeting of physical needs we are hoping for doors to reach spiritual needs are opened as well.
