We’re a body of believers in Goldsby, Oklahoma. Christ is our everything. We seek to be transformed by God’s love in such a way that we positively influence our community, our nation, and even the world. Each of us is a broken person being changed by the love of Christ. Our doors and hearts are open, and we want you to feel at home with us.

David and Letha Starchman are the founding pastors of True Vine. They’ve been faithfully married for twenty-five years and reside in nearby Norman where they’ve raised two daughters, Mercedes and Isabella. David is an electrical engineer, and Letha is a registered nurse (RN).

True Vine Church started in the Goldsby Community Center in 2009. One year later, we began meeting in the first building on our current property on Center Road in Goldsby. In early 2016 we moved into a new higher-capacity facility. Our passion for outreach and for missions has taken us into local neighborhoods and even foreign lands to share the love of Christ. We eagerly wait to see what God holds for us in the future!

what to expect

Sunday Morning Worship

We hope you’ll join us for worship on Sunday morning. We want you to feel at home; so, come comfy! Have a cup of coffee (or not); look around; and if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

We’re a family who gathers to worship our loving heavenly Father. Most Sundays, we’ll worship through prayer, worship through music, and worship through hearing God’s Word.

Our goal is to set aside all of the distractions of life and experience the goodness of God in this unique time that He’s designed.

for the kiddos

We love having everybody together during musical worship. After the music, we’ll invite kids 11 and under to age-appropriate ministry if they’d like to go. Their teacher will greet you in the foyer when they’re released to their classes, and the kids will be brought back to you in the foyer at the end of service.

family room

Need a minute with a little one but don’t want to miss service? Please feel free to use our family room just outside the auditorium.

hearing assistance

If you’d like a little help hearing the service, please check in with the soundbooth and they can provide an assistive listening device.

worship through communion

We celebrate communion once a month. If you visit on one of those Sundays, we invite you to participate. We ask only that you be a believer before participating. We also hope you feel comfortable observing if you prefer. Zero pressure!

Midweek Small Groups

We believe the best way to follow the biblical pattern of church is by meeting not only in corporate worship but outside of the larger group setting (Sunday mornings) in smaller groups. These small groups laugh together, pray together, encourage each other in discipleship, and really just share life.
